Dreamweaver CS5のTest&Target ExtensionでAB Test

ドリCS5とT&Tのプレリリース版を評価しています。A/Bテスト用のクリエイティブを制作するワークフローについて、画面キャプチャ付きで紹介します。
I was lucky enough to test pre-release version of Dreamweaver CS5 and Omniture TestAndTarget Extension. Below is the new workflow for creators to prepare assets for A/B testing.
1. Sign In
You can sign in to Test&Target directly from Dreamweaver using this new panel.
エクステンションをインストールすると表示されるパネルから、Test&Targetに直接ログインできます。
2. Create a MBox
First thing to do is to create a new MBox to test. Select the content area and click "+MBox" button.
まず、パターンを出し分けるMBoxを作ります。領域を選択してから「+MBox」をクリック。
MBox "test-01" was created. Notice that the area was tagged with div, followed by a short JavaScript code.
名前をつければMBoxが完成。HTMLコードとしては、class付きのDIVと、その後のscriptタグが挿入されます。
3. Create Offers
Now let's create another offer inside the MBox by clicking "+Offer" buton.
このMBoxの中に、オファーと呼ばれるコンテンツを入れて切り替えることになります。まずは空のオファーを作成します。
If you click the name of the newly created offer, the design view gets updated.
リストから新しいオファーの名前を選択すると、MBoxの部分が切り替わり、新しいオファーが表示されます。デザインビューであってもコードビューであっても、リアルタイムで切り替わります。
"Insert Content Here" is a dummy text. You can change it to any content you like. I changed it to a different photo.
ダミーテキストが挿入されているので、別の画像に差し替えてみました。オファーは、タグが完結していればHTMLが使えます。もちろんWYSIWYG編集も可能。
I can easily switch back to the default content with a single click.
オファーのリストをクリックすると、別のオファーにすぐ切り替わります。サクサク切り替えて比較するのに便利です。
4. Upload Offers to Test&Target
Click "Sync", and you're all set. It's that simple and fun.
最後に同期すると、オファーがTest&Targetサーバーに送信されて終了。簡単で楽しいです。
5. Edit Campaigns (Experiences) outside Dreamweaver
Go to Test&Target Website to edit Campaigns (Experiences) to set up A/B test. Basically the TestAndTarget Extension is for designers to create assets for A/B testing.
最後に、T&Tの管理画面にログインしてキャンペーンを編集する必要があります。マーケティング部門やクライアント側が実際のテストを設計して編集する場合も多いかもしれません。ドリの拡張機能は、制作者（デザイナー）が素材を制作する作業の効率を高める、という位置づけのようです。
次回は、Flash ProとTest&Targetの連携についてレビューします。Flashの場合は、Flash内でテスト設定も可能なようです。
